Promo Cards for July

Today we have had a full set of promo cards for July's events.

First up it is the Cardfight Vanguard promo. This is given out to everyone that wants one and attends our weekly Vanguard League on Tuesday Nights at the Royal British Legion. This month we have a Kagero grade one, Dragon Dancer Karia...

Next we have Weis Schwarz and Buddyfight. These are for casual games. Anyone that plays one of these games at the shop or one of our events will be able to get there hands on a promo card...

Next is Force of Will, which has been around for a while but not something we have concerntrated on as a shop until now. Hopefully this will become a game that is played a little more both in the shop and at our Tuesday Games Nights. This card is again for those that play casual games. There is only a very small amount available so I will be issuing them to players once they have played 4 games. The card this month is Zero, the Flashing Mage Warrior. Finally we have Magic the Gathering. The game we have been running for the longest. This is the FNM promo card which is given to the top four players at each Friday's MTG event. How to Play Weiss Schwarz

I have been talking to a couple of people today about the game Weiss Schwarz. This is a game a tried a couple of years back with a Japanese language deck so as you can imagine I found it hard to play. With some of the new set releases this game has become more accessible in the UK so I think it is time to give it another try.

Here is a video showing an full tutorial on the game, some of the explanations are a bit wordy and the narrators speak a little quickly but it does cover most of the mechanics...

The new set for Weiss Schwarz was released last weekend and after the initial sale of full booster boxes I still have a few single boosters for sale. If you would like any of these or a demo game (you will have to allow me to refer to the rules a bit) then why not pop along to the shop on Saturday.

I have today received my first Bushiroads promo pack to my new business address, which should mean that I no longer experience daelays in getting promotional material for Cardfight Vanguard, Buddyfight and Weiss Schwarz.
