The New MTG 2019 Challenger Decks ...



Challenger Decks will be available April 12, 2019.

Challenger Decks are your on-ramp to Standard. These four individual 75-card decks are geared toward Standard play for the Friday Night Magic player and forged out of some of the most powerful strategies in Standard.

Each Challenger Deck comes with a complete 60-card main deck and a 15-card sideboard, and is intended to be playable and competitive at a local level right out of the box. All cards will have been previously printed in Standard and are Standard-legal.

Pokemon Pre-release


Tickets for the Pre-release of the next Pokemon set go on sale today. The event will be on Saturday 20th April and will cost £20.00 (or £24 on the day)

Receive a brand new Pre-Release pack containing 4 Sun & Moon Set #10 "Unbroken Bonds" boosters and a special booster to help you build a working deck which also includes a promotional card.

Players receive an additional Unbroken Bonds Boosters when they complete the event.

The event will start at 11:30am, please arrive 30mins before the stated start time to ensure that you are registered on the system.

We'll have staff on hand to help you build your deck.

If you would like to learn to play, then please come along early on the day and we can show you how!

War of the Spark Prerelease


We are currently planning to run two prerelease events for the coming MTG set War of the Spark. These will be on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April. The Saturday event will be held in the shop and the Sunday one will be as part of Gambit Sunday.

These events will both be in the afternoon, with a likely start time of 1pm, but this will confirmed in the coming days. There will be a limited amount of space at both events.

Tickets will go on sale this weekend and will cost just £20 per player. This price however is only for player that pre-order and pay for their place. The entry price will go up to £24 per player from the 19th April.

Entry for this event will be £3 per player and there will be a chance to get a limited edition Winter Soldier




Heroclix Public Enemy Bullseye OP Kit
Entry for this event will be £5 per player and there will be chances for players to win Punisher, Daredevil and Bullseye Heroclix figures.





Heroclix Battle for Wakanda OP Kit
Entry for this event will be £5 per player and there will be chances for players to win Klaw, M'Baku and Queen Shuri Heroclix figures.




Heroclix X-Men Empowered OP Kit
Entry for this event will be £5 per player and there will be chances for players to win Rogue, Phoenix and Storm Heroclix figures.





Dice Masters City Slingers OP Kit (Likely to be MAY)
Entry for this event will be £3 per player and everyone will get a Ricochet card plus there will be chances for players to win a Spiderman and Black Cat card




Dice Masters New Heroes OP Kit (Likely to be JUNE)
Entry for this event will be £3 per player and everyone will get a Wallop basic action card plus there will be chances for players to win a Kate Bishop and Vision card.

Pokemon Detective Pikachu

Announcing the new Pokémon Trading Card Game collections based on the upcoming live-action movie

The Pokémon Trading Card Game will feature a special selection of 26 new cards inspired by POKÉMON Detective Pikachu. Collectors and competitive players alike will want to get their hands on all of these cards to inject a little Ryme City flavor into their decks. Look for cards featuring Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Detective Pikachu, all depicted as CGI creations. The first wave of Pokémon TCG: Detective Pikachu products will be available from April 5, 2019. Be on the lookout for:


Coming Soon - New Dice Masters Event


This week I will be getting a new Dice Masters Organised Play kit, and it will feature the following cards ...

Talia al Ghul: Off-Balance Participation Prize Cards for everyone that attends.
Catwoman: The Cat and The Claw Limited Edition Prize Card for the top two finishers and
Poison Ivy: Eternal Youth Limited Edition Prize Card for the winner.

The event will be scheduled for a Thursday Night Tournament sometime in April. I will be publishing the full line up of TNT events in the coming days to allow to plan your month ahead.
