Table Bookings

With the shop currently being open from midday most days, we have some time slots available for people to book our tables to play whatever games you want. Simply pick a day and time you want, go to our website and book a table. If you don't know what to play we have a selection of games available for you to play with for no additional cost. 

We have space every week at the following times...

Tuesday 12pm - 3pm

Wednesday 12-pm - 3pm and 3pm - 6pm

Thusday 12pm - 3pm

Friday 12-pm - 3pm and 3pm - 6pm

Pokemon Darkness Ablaze Prerelease

This Saturday we will be running our very first event in store since March.

We will be hosting two four player events for the release of the new Pokemon set Darkness Ablaze.

These events will be at 1:30pm and 4:00pm and will last for 2 hours. The event must be booked online through our website and entry must be paid in full. Space is limited to 4 per event and will be strickly first come first served. (If there is enough interest we may be able to run two further events on the following weekend.

As things have changed greatly since March, it is important that you take time to read through the notes below that outline how this event will be organised:

• Players should arrive no earlier that 5 mins before the beginning of the event. (Please be aware that you may have to wait outside if there are customers in the shop)
• Players should not bring bags or unnecessary items in to the event with them. (you are welcome to ring a drink in with you or an empty bottle for water which will be available)
• Once players have arrived they will be asked to enter the playing room and sit at one of the two tables (your place will be marked with your name)
• Only the person playing is permitted to be in the gaming room and there is no space in the shop for people to wait for players to finish.
• Once you are seated, please remain in your seat unless you are asked to move or it is absolutely necessary.
• Whilst in the shop (including the playing room) ALL players must wear a face covering.
• Your packs will be ready for you at your table and will have been sprayed with antibacterial spray (30 minutes before you arrive). Every player will have 4 booster packs and an evolution pack to make a deck from and you will have 30 minutes to get ready to play your first game.
• The will be a pack of 10 energy from each type ready at every players table which you will take with you when the event finishes (you will be able to ask for more if needed)
• When the event starts you will be able to open your packs, all rubbish should be thrown into the bin located next to your table.
• Players are not permitted to touch other players belongings or newly open cards at any time.
• If you need to have a break, you may take these outside the shop where you will be able to remove you mask.
• There will be up to three single game matches played, which will last no longer than 30 minutes.
• At the end of the first game, please remain seated until the other players have finished. YOu will then be instructed on what to do for the next match.

The rules are obviously much more strict than they were before Covid-19 and I hope that you understand the need for these measures. If you wish to discuss them before booking a space, then please contact me.

We hope that all players will still be able to fully enjoy the event and that it will be the first of many to come.

Our new Gaming Location

We are proud to announce that we have hopefully found a new gaming location, which is ,,,,

The Royal George

Upper Shoreham Rd, Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex, BN43 6TA

We have use of the function room on Tuesday 19th November 2013 and will be charging just £2 for each player.

We will be starting at 3:30pm with Pokemon, where we will be discussing the future of League play in Shoreham as well as hopfully planning a date for our City Championship. We will of course be playing both the card game and video game as normal!

Next up it will be Vanguard League, a competitive event where every player will get the usual promotional card and a chance to win a couple of boosters in three rounds of swiss play! This will start at about 5:30pm and finish at about 8:30pm.

Finally from 6pm through to 10pm we will be playing Magic the Gathering, Heroclix and various board games. This is casual play - in other words just come along find someone to play against and play what ever you want. We will also be discussing the changes to FNM and what we will be offering for Friday MTG tournaments on a regualr basis, along with the proposed entry fee. 

We also will be discussing Gambit Games and what people want on a weekly basis in regards to both location, cost and game systems played.

The Royal George is located on the Holmbush Roundabout and there is a bus stop just outside. If your unsure of the location have a look at our map or contact me for more detail directions ....
