Christmas Tree Festival

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Its that time of year again, and for the third year we are displaying our KD Games Christmas tree in the St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival.

This year it is a brand new tree and pretty much everything on it has been made or added this year. It is a complete 'Pokemon' Tree this year and most of the work has been done by our 'Shoreham Pokemon League'

Work started earlier in the year when the children started to make decorations. They were asked to draw their favourite Pokemon on to wooden baubles...

Some even went the extra mile, making some models of Pokemon! Next we glued some spare Pokemon coins together to make some wonderful hanging ornaments that really catch the light...

Then came the huge task of cutting strips from energy cards and stapling them together to make some really bright paper chains...

After this all we need was our tree topper and some really eye catching additions that will make our tree truely unique. These were provided by Toxi. She spent days making models from recycled bubble wrap. The result of which was simple amazing, here are a few hints of what they might be, any guesses?

Shoreham Pokemon League is a community which has been building for the last 15 years and although most of the work on the tree has been done by our younger member, it has players and collectors of all ages and experiences. It offers a safe space for Pokemon fans to meet with other enthusiastic people and trade, play and talk about all things Pokemon. They have put so much effort into this year's tree, please take some time to visit the festival and if you like what we have done then please votes for our tree.
