Magic Presents: Player Appreciation - Turbo Tower is a special Commander celebration event taking place December 12–18 at WPN stores worldwide. Players are invited to enjoy the most popular Magic format and take home the promo card while supplies last.
Each player begins the game with a Command Tower promo card on the battlefield. This promo card isn't counted as part of their deck; their deck still needs to include 100 cards, and it can include another copy of the Command Tower card if they wish.
At the end of the event, participants keep their Command Tower promo card as a thank-you for being part of the community.
Starting Saturday 13th December we will be running the "Magic the Gathering presents Master the Four Elements" league.
This will be a sealed event starting with 3 boosters and adding a pack each week. Decks are built from the card pool from the packs opened and start at deck size of 30 cards, each week the deck size will go up by 5 cards.
At the beginning of the league everyone will get 4 element cards. As you play other players you can pick one of your element cards and you will get the benefit that the element offers for that match. You can use each element card three times and when you master all of the elements you will receive a MTG Avatar the Last Airbender print and a promo card.
Each event will be at 2pm on Saturday and will last for as many weeks as needed for players to master the elements (up to a maximum of 4 weeks). The element cards are ...
The Magic: The Gathering Avatar: The Last Airbender Commander Party is a special, story-driven event with unique mechanics where players train to master all four elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Air) using special play aids and "bending" cards to unlock the powerful Avatar State for big game-changing effects, creating a fun, immersive experience for both new and seasoned players.
How it WorksPods:
Players form pods of three to four.
Play Aids: Each pod gets a special play aid to track elements and rules.
Bending Training: Starting on turn three, players interact with their play aid to "train" in elements.
Mastering Elements: Learn Water, Earth, Fire, and Air bending.
The Avatar State: Master all four elements to unlock this powerful state, boosting your game.
Flavorful Mechanics: The bending abilities are tied to the element's color (Blue for Water, Green for Earth, Red for Fire, White for Air) and feel like actions from the show.
Promos: Event participants receive promotional cards, like the Gran-Gran promo.
This year as we have in previous years we will be marking the Christmas period with a special Advent Sale. Starting on December 1st we will be adding a new offer each day right through to Christmas Eve.
This means that there will be a total of 24 different offers. These will start on the day they are announced and last all the way through to New Years Eve (unless we sell out of course)
So far offers for Day 1 and 2 have been added and these are now marked on our advent calendar. Spiderman boosters are now just £5 each which is a saving of £1.50 a pack and puts them on the same price as unlicensed boosters. For Star Wars Unlimited we have reduced the prerelease boxes from £30 to just £20 which effectively means 6 boosters for the price of 5.
In addition this year we will also opening our TCG Charity Advent Calendar each day. For this we will be opening a booster of a TCG each day (which will be recorded) and adding these cards to the prize pool. We will try and open as many different TCG's as possible and some of the more popular games will have a couple of packs. We will be displaying the rare card from each booster on our calendar and you will be able to buy raffle tickets for just £1 each which will get one lucky person all of the contents of all of the boosters which will be announced on Christmas Eve. All proceeds from the event will go to Prostate Cancer which is a charity that we have supported for a while and is very close to our hearts.

World of Tanks: The Card Game (TCG) is a two-player tabletop card game developed by Archon Studio based on the popular video game. It is a deck-building game where players strategically deploy iconic tanks and crew to destroy their opponent's three bases over a series of rounds. Players win by either destroying all enemy bases or by having the most victory points at the end of the final round.
Core gameplay and mechanicsDeck-building: Players construct a deck of around 40 combat cards and three base cards from up to three different nations.
Strategic deployment: On a turn, a player can play a card as a tank, crew, or ammo depot.
Tanks: Place a vehicle card on the battlefield, choosing a position that affects its attack and defense capabilities.
Crew: Equip a crew card to a tank to provide immediate or ongoing effects.
Ammo Depot: Play a card face-down as an ammo depot to pay for attacks.
Combat: Players can choose to "open fire" to attack enemy vehicles, consuming ammo to do so. Different tank types have different targeting abilities.
Victory conditions: Victory points are earned through cards on the battlefield. The player with the most victory points at the end of a round forces the opponent to reveal one of their bases. The first player to reveal all three of the opponent's bases wins the game.
