Participate in a 2026 Worlds Celebration Tournament & Get a Pikachu Promo

The air is feeling electric as we approach the 2026 World Championships, and Play! Pokémon is ready to kick off the celebration early! From August 21 to August 30, Play! Pokémon Stores will host 2026 Worlds Celebration tournaments, where you can battle fellow Pokémon Trainers and make new friends.

Participating Trainers will earn a Pokémon Trading Card Game promo card featuring Pikachu and a San Francisco-inspired background, while supplies last. Plus, winners from each age division—Junior, Senior, and Masters—will earn a copy of the promo card with “WINNER” stamped on it.

For the first time, Trainers who win a Worlds Celebration event this year will also be treated to some cool commemorative accessories to keep upping their game! Trainers who win a Pokémon TCG event will receive a Worlds Celebration themed deck box and card sleeves to flex their next deck, and Trainers who win a Pokémon GO event will be treated to a Worlds Celebration themed screen cleaner perfect for keeping their device nice and tidy.*

Promotional cards and items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and additional prizing of Pokemon Prize Packs (Series 8) will be awarded on the day. Tickets can be booked online now ...

YOU'RE INVITED TO A PARTY OF GREAT IMPORTANCE—THE MAGIC CELEBRATION EVENT!

The Fellowship joins The Gathering in a whole new way this summer—and you're invited to be part of the celebration. The Magic Celebration Event will be held at KD Games this Friday and Saturday. (7th/8th July)

At the Magic Celebration Event, you (and any friends and family you bring along) will jump into an incredible experience, opening two The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth™ Jumpstart Boosters and playing three casual rounds of games at your store.

For those who bring along a Fellowship of their own, you and your friends will earn the Bring-a-Friend promo Thought Vessel. But that's not all: you'll want to be sure to register with your Wizards Account through the Magic: The Gathering Companion App for additional precious rewards.

What precious rewards? We're glad you asked! The first 30 players will receive one of three different collectible dice sets featuring three d6 in the same color tucked safely inside a burgundy bag with a golden Planeswalker fork.

Each of the three colors available nearly match different spindown dice you can find across other sealed products: in some Prerelease Packs, the Bundle, and the Bundle: Gift Edition, specifically.

Plus, if you're in a region where Magic: The Gathering Arena codes are valid, we're sending something special to your inboxes: a preconstructed The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth themed deck. Be sure to use the same Wizards account connected to your MTG Arena account and check your inbox starting July 25.
