Another week and another win, thats 4 from 4 for this year's league so far, now currently in second place with a game in hand.
Here is Kevin's match report...
"Dominant performance today from the Clarets, the girls are really grasping their positional play of where they need to be with and without the ball. We ensured Southwater were limited to very few shots on our goal and that was down to diligent defending and desire to win the ball back.
Going forward we looked good, we were looking for the throughball all the time and this worked for the first goal from Bella who finished smartly. The first half continued to be played in Southwater's half and with a bit more ruthlessness we could have been further ahead at halftime.
Second half we continued to ask questions every time we went forward. Summer got a nice second goal from a Bella cutback, an avenue that we could have scored more from throughout the half.
The girls game intelligence is growing and our short corners worked brilliantly. Their keeper continued to be busy.
Lovely penalty despatched by April to round off a result and another clean sheet which was richly deserved.
Atrin was superb today in everything she did, her passing out from defense was great, she gave their right winger nothing and was a rock today. Well done and deserved POTM 🏆
Thanks Majid for running the line. Thanks parents for your support. One takeaway from this week is we should always keep a spare pair of boots in your car 😉
Onto James' and everyone's favourite villain next week, we'll be ready for him. Bring your ear defenders!"
