Gambit Sunday

Tomorrow we are once again helping to host Gambit Sunday! We will be there all day and doors open at 11am. Entry is free for children and just £2 for adults, so why not join us for a day of gaming?

We will be hosting a number of events tomorrow, including ...

MTG 25 DRAFT

Starting at 1pm and with an entry price of £24 (in addition to your Gambit entry) we will be drafting the new MTG set. There will be no booster prizes for this event but we will have some promo cards to hand out. The maximum amount of players for this event will be 10.

CARDFIGHT VANGUARD STORE CHALLENGE

Starting at 2pm and with an entry price of  just £1 (in addition to your Gambit entry). This event is open to all that have a deck and the winner will get a special certificate as well as the top 3 getting a special coupon to redeem at Spring Fest.

POKEMON TOURNAMENT

This event will actually be running at the shop in Tarmount Lane. Entry is £2 for juniors and seniors and £4 for adults. The tournament should finish by 1pm when players are welcome to move up to the Legion (there will be no additional entry fee). There will be booster prizes for this event depending on the amount of players we have.

In addition there will of course be a whole range of tabletop, board and card games being played. Feel free to bring something along or simply join in with someone else when you get there.

Snacks and drinks will be on sale as well as a small selection of toasted sandwiches and of course the shop will be open all day if you need any boosters or new games.

There are 99 new cards and 5 reprints.

Each display includes 16 packs, and each carton includes 20 displays.

Vanguard Promo Cards

At last some good news for Cardfight Vanguard players, we finally have some new (well newish) promo cards. We have received our promos for June. This means that we can again start giving out cards to all participants plus special 'CONGRATULATIONS' ones for the winners each week.

Vanguard Sneak Preview

This weekend we will be running the Sneak Preview event for ...

The event will start at 6pm at the 3rd Sea Scouts Hut on the Adur Recreation Ground in Shoreham. Entry will cost £17 per person.

Each player will get 6 boosters and will get a chance to DRAFT a pool of cards from which they will make their tournament deck. We will then play a series of best of three SINGLE ELIMINATION rounds. For each match you win you will not only get to go through to the next round but you will also get an additional booster!!!

The winner and one other lucky player drawn at random will also get a great Cardfight Vanguard playmat...

Vanguard League

On Tuesday nights at the Royal British Legion in Shoreham we hold our weekly Vanguard League. The event cost just £2 to enter and players will need a legal Vanguard deck. We play a number of rounds depending on the amount of players and generally these are best of one game with no time limit. Everyone that attends get a participation promo card, which for March is 'Catharsis Vivid' ...

The winner will get a special promo card with date and 'Congratulations' printed on it as well as at least 2 boosters. Prizes for the other places are based on attendance.

A FB event is created each week for you to confirm your attendance.

Cardfight Vanguard - End of Year Tournament

On Sunday 8th January we will be holding our Cardfight Vanguard End of Year Invitational, which is top to the top 20 players of 2016.

Jason Rose ends the year as our top player winning 21 events and scoring on average an impressive 10.63 points.

Vanguard League

Our Cardfight Vanguard League is both one of our longest running and most popular events. We hold it every Tuesday Night at the Royal British Legion in Shoreham from 7pm until 10pm.

Each week the venue is open from 5:30pm to allow players to trade and play casual games before the tournament play starts at 7pm. The event is a best of one format but has no time limit on the round. We play a number of rounds dependant on the amount of players present but typically this is 4 rounds as attendance is usuallly between 12 and 20 players.

The event costs just £2 to enter and there is a booster prize pool dependant on the amount of players that enter. Everyone that takes part in the event regardless of where they eventually finish will get a promotional card. This card changes each month and the one for NOVEMBER '16 is...

Promo Cards for July

Today we have had a full set of promo cards for July's events.

First up it is the Cardfight Vanguard promo. This is given out to everyone that wants one and attends our weekly Vanguard League on Tuesday Nights at the Royal British Legion. This month we have a Kagero grade one, Dragon Dancer Karia...

Next we have Weis Schwarz and Buddyfight. These are for casual games. Anyone that plays one of these games at the shop or one of our events will be able to get there hands on a promo card...

Next is Force of Will, which has been around for a while but not something we have concerntrated on as a shop until now. Hopefully this will become a game that is played a little more both in the shop and at our Tuesday Games Nights. This card is again for those that play casual games. There is only a very small amount available so I will be issuing them to players once they have played 4 games. The card this month is Zero, the Flashing Mage Warrior. (A Six sages/human resonator with a neat prevent damage ability...

Luck and Logic is next. This is the newest format we have. As there are again a very few of these cards available we will be issueing them to casual players once they complete 4 games. The first card we have for this system is Logicalist Level 1 Urgent Trance Sena...

Finally we have Magic the Gathering. The game we have been running for the longest. This is the FNM promo card which is given to the top four players at each Friday's MTG event. 2016 CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD UK STORE CHAMPIONSHIP CIRCUIT - COME TO SHOREHAM!

In the run up to the nation-wide Cardfight!! Vanguard tournament—the Bushiroad World Championship 2016(BWC2016) happening on August 27th at the Strategy Gaming Convention in Telford, we’re offering you the chance to bring your A-game early and make it count!

Introducing the 2016 Cardfight!! Vanguard UK Store Championship Circuit! 44 winners of store events from the circuit will enjoy automatic byes during the first two elimination rounds and enter fresh into the tournament during round three with two wins in hand!!

Eligibility of Participation	The event will be open to all players and there will be a £3 entrance fee for this event.
Tournament Format	This event will be a swiss event of a minimum of four rounds followed by a top 8 cut. Each round will be a timed bext of one game. Each round will last 20 minutes.
Deck Requirements	English Edition Cardfight!! Vanguard cards may be used for this event. Japanese Edition Cardfight!! Vanguard, counterfeit or modified cards may not be used for this event. Fighters are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. Cards from new expansions are legal to use from the expansion’s release date. Deck regulations (Clan/Extreme Fight) and Card Restrictions follow the Fighter’s Rules. Kindly check with the tournament organizers for the deck regulations applied on the respective events.
Winner’s Prize	Top player (Champion) from each shop tournament being given automatic byes for the first 2 elimination rounds at the UK Regional Qualifier of Bushiroad World Championship 2016. (i.e. they skip the first elimination round and enter from round 3 with full points) There will be other prizes for the top 8 players. For each player in the event there will be one booster added to the prize pool!

The venue for this event will the the 3rd Sea Scout Hut in Shoreham...

The venue will be open from 10am for anyone that wants to come along to get a few practice games in before the event. The tournament will start at 6pm with registration from 5:30pm. If you are new to this location please have a look at the map below or contact us for travel details.

"Fighter's Collection 2016" is the 3rd G Fighter's Collection Pack released in the Japanese and English formats.

The set contains 51 cards (8 GR, 16 RRR, 27 RR).It includes further support for all 24 clans (excluding Etranger and Touken Ranbu). It also introduces the keyword "G guardian". Due to this, the limit size of the G zone will be increased from 8 to 16 cards, after this booster is released in its respective format.

Each pack contains 3 cards, and each display contains 10 packs.
