KD Magic Night

This Friday (22nd November) we will be holding our first KD Magic Night which will replace the FNM events that we used to run when the shop was still open. As many of you will be aware we can not run officially sanctioned MTG events now that we do not have a high street store. We can however still run our own versions of these events.

In fact other than the fact that you will not earn Planeswalker points and we will no longer get promotional cards the events will be much the same as they were before. For the first few events we will still have the remaining promotional cards isued for November.

Our first event will be STANDARD and will cost slightly more than it used to cover the cost of the room hire which will be £3. Prizes will be given for the top two players as normal which will be ....

Registration for the event will start at 5:30pm and you are requested to pay your entry fee when you arrive. The event will start at 6pm and will consist of 4 swiss rounds. We will be using challonge.com to run the event which will allow us to post the results on line as they happen. The event should be finished by 10pm at the latest.

It is the location that is the biggest change, will be in the function room at the Royal George on the Holmbush roundabout in Shoreham.

For those that like fine tune decks, trade and socialise before the event doors will open at 4pm for casual play. I have created a Facebook event so please confirm you attendance.
