New MTG Promo Cards

We have some new promotional cards to give away this week.

How can you get each of these? Great and relevant question—thanks for asking.

To start with, make any purchase of MTG products, and you can receive the Reliquary Tower (limit one per customer, while supplies last).

If you really want to show your love for KD GAMES, purchase a box of any MTG product—including Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths or Mystery Booster—and you'll receive possibly the coolest Buy-a-Box promo ever! (while supplies last)—a Hangarback Walker with the Mechagodzilla treatment. These are not limited to one per customer.

Finally, anyone who participates in a store event or books a gaming table is eligible to receive an art print , while supplies last. 

Playing In-Store

This Saturday we will be re-introducing playing games in the store.

The shop has two rooms and we will only be using the back room to play in, leaving plenty of space in the front for people to shop comfortably and safely. We have reduced the number of seated places from our normal 10 down to just 4. These are on two tables and will allow for 1 v 1 games only. 

These tables will be available to book through our website from today or if you would prefer, you are also able to come into the shop and book them in person. The booking will be for two hours and there will be 3 available slots for each table each Saturday. (Although for the first week this will be reduced to just two slots and will vary if we are running an event). It will cost £3 per person. After each session we will be cleaning the area ready for the next sessions.

Each table has now been fitted with a screen for you protection, but as it is a retail environment you will still be required to wear face masks at all times. (You are of course welcome to pop outside for a break at any time.) Our staff will also be wearing face masks. There will be a fan to aid with improving the airflow and keeping it cool and the door will remain open when the room is occupied. Cool drinking water will be available for free but you must bring you own container. 

We will be reviewing the process each week and will be looking into introducing some short demonstration/teaching sessions and some small events in the future. If you have any questions about bookings then please feel free to give us a call, message us or email.

TICKET TO RIDE: STAY AT HOME A FREE PRINT & PLAY EXPANSION! 

Like millions of players around the world, Days of Wonder’s team is stuck at home during the lockdown trying to find a way to stay entertained and avoid eating six meals per day. That is why, in regard to this unexpected situation, they have worked on this very special project to allow you to have fun and evade reality without leaving your home!

Snorlax and Morpeko Pin Collection
Snorlax and Morpeko seem about as different as two Pokémon can be. Despite their differences, both Pokémon can be terrific battlers when paired with a clever Trainer. COLLECTIONS

For the last few weeks we have been offering sales via our website for Pokemon and Magic the Gathering items. This will increase to cover other ranges in the coming days.

When buying online there are two options for how to get your items. The first is have them delivered to your house but this will cost you extra and will take a couple of days to arrive with you. The other is to come and collect the items. Normally this would be from the shop, but these are not normal times so collection is from my house.

The reason for collecting from my house is that the shop is closed and deliveries are being delivered to me at home and it is much easier to arrange a time. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, there are a few things that we have put in place to make the collection easier and safer for everyone.

• Firstly, once you have placed your order I will message you either through Wix, Facebook or Discord and arrange a time with you when you are available to pick the stock up. This ideally will be a window of about an hour. I will try and make sure that you are the only people due to be collecting something during that window.
• I will then send you a Google Maps link to my home address so that you knw where to come.
• I will message you just before your collection window to let you know your goods are ready and send a picture showing your items for you to check.
• Next the stock will be place in a box outside my from window so that we can maintain safe social distancing.

• The box is cleaned after each collection and sprayed with antibacterial spray before new stock is added to the box. The spray is available if you wish to spray the products before handling them. Antibacterial hand gel will also be available for you to clean your hands after you have closed the box. 

 

• For security purposes there is a camera recording the box at all times, this will give me a record of people collecting their items and hopefully prevent people from tampering with the box. The recordings are deleted after collection by the correct person is confirmed.

• Please remember to bring a bag with you as you will need something to carry your good home in.
• Finally I would be grateful if you could confirm that you have picked your goods up as this will allow me to clean the box and get the next collection ready if applicable. 

Finally, although I will send a Google Maps link showing my address I have included it here to allow you to plan your pick up before you commit to purchasing anything.
