A Tiny Tin Tale

This week we have some new titles from Bedsit Games, along with Twitten which we shared details with you last week we also have two 'Tiny Tin Tales'. These are small games that are set in the same world as Paupers Ladder.

First up we have The Crows of Coppershell Bay.

Prepare yourself for a tiny tin adventure set in the coastal town of Coppershell Bay. You play a lowly skinner at the local maggot farm who has 3 days to pay back their debt of 60 Gems to the local Crows gang. You’ll spend these days exploring the town trying trying to earn money, the nights resting, eating and working extra shifts at the farm. Any time between you’ll be taking on quests for the miners’ guild, venturing into the dangerous tunnels underground.

The Crows of Coppershell Bay is a game of luck pushing, coin counting, dungeon crawling and village living for 1 player. It's the first in the Tiny Tin Tales series, a collection of portable games set in the world of Brighthelm.

This is the second edition of The Crows of Coppershell Bay. For a round up of the tweaks and balances in this edition, pop over here.

Secondly we have The Siege of Shaddis Horne.

The fairies have gone mad. Their once quaint magic threatens all of Brighthelm. The golems they created to protect the villages are now tearing them apart.

Now the little forest town of Shaddis Horne, with its elemental college, is under siege. The fairies know that without this source of magic, Brighthelm’s chemists will be dealt a severe blow. They must be stopped.

Your Hawkguard soldiers have been sent to repel the fairies and their minions, inspire the villagers and keep Shaddis Horne standing until the siege is over. It won't be easy.

The Siege of Shaddis Horne is a co-operative resource gathering tower defence game for 1-4 players, with a smattering of push-your-luck dungeon crawling to boot.

We have both of these games on Sale plus they are available in our games library for either playing in the shop for free or renting for just £2 per night.

Twittens

New from Bedsit Games, the creators of BN1 and Paupers Ladder comes Twittens

Twittens is an old Sussex word to describe the little alleyways and lanes that run between houses and fields. They thread their way through towns and suburbs like veins, walled by red bricks, garden fencing and rusted chicken wire. Elsewhere they're known as ginnels, snicks and vennels.

Twittens is a tile laying game for 1-5 players, set in an everyday English suburb. Work your way through the seasons exploring your local twittens, discovering their houses, wildlife, allotments, playgrounds, railways and electrical substations. Complete your wanderings and get home in time for tea.

Here's a quick introduction to Twittens. I take a few turns and explain how all the different elements score work together.

Paupers Ladder

Paul Stapleton of Bedsit Games which is based in Brighton has written a new game which is due for release in September this year.

PAUPERS' LADDER: A game of exploration adventure and class struggle for 2-4 players.
There’s a tournament on and those high and mighty heroes aren’t allowed to enter. It’s up to you grave diggers, vermin catchers and scavengers to show them how it’s done.
With your bird companion in tow, craft recipes, complete quests, learn virtues and fight all manner of creatures. Win the right to rule Brighthelm and ensure your fellow paupers are never forgotten.

It looks like it will be another success for him and hopefully we will be stocking it. In preperation for the release here is a video showing a play through...
