Next Saturday we will be hosting our first Palword Challengers Cup. Wehope that this will be the first of many. To accommodate this event alongside what is already a very busy weekend of events we will be hosting this in the function room of the Crown and Anchor which is directly opposite the shop.

Preliminary rounds
This will be 5 Swiss rounds or until the preliminary rounds produce 1 undefeated player, whichever comes first.
Each round will be 30 minutes in length.
If time is up, a double loss will be awarded to both players. There will be no extra time/turns.
Top cut rounds

As the total attendance is less than 32 players, the cut will be the top 4 players at the end of the Preliminary rounds.
If time is up, players have 10 minutes to finish 3 extra turns. No extra time will be awarded after this.
After 10 minutes or at the end of the third turn, whichever comes first, the player with the lower health loses the game.
