What Are Local Championships?

Local Championships are competitive events designed for UniVersus players who want to take their game to the next level. These events award Championship Points, helping you secure a spot at the biggest event of the year—Worlds! If you're aiming for the top, this is where you start.

Season 1 Local Championship Format

For our Local Championships we have chosen to run the event in the Standard format as this the style that best suits our community.

Standard Format - A traditional UniVersus tournament where players bring decks from the standard card pool. This format rewards well-rounded strategies and mastery of the game.

Season 1 Local Championship Prizing

This season brings amazing rewards for all participants, Top 8, Top 4, Finalists, and the Champion.

Participation: Tarot Reading promo (16 per event) – Just for entering!
Top 8: Enchanted Weapon Attack alternate treatment for top 8 players
Top 4: Enchanted Weapon Attack alternate treatment for top 4 players
Finalists: Enchanted Weapon Attack alternate treatment for the Finalists
Champion: Enchanted Weapon Attack alternate treatment exclusive to the Champion
