This year Halo: Flashpoint was released into the world - and from the reaction so far, we're at the start of something truly phenomenal.

Following the huge popularity of Halo: Flashpoint's starter sets we're already seeing lots of interest in Wave 2, which will include multiple releases between January-March 2025.

With the new edition of Warhammer Underworlds now available, there’s no better time to start a league with your friends, and this month’s Bunker has advice on how to do so, with free cards that introduce twists to your games. There’s also commentary from the designers on what went into the new edition.

Working tirelessly to emancipate themselves in preparation for the Star Children, the Genestealer Cults are this month’s cover stars. An in-depth investigation into their movements in Warzone Chalnath accompanies a profile on the Quarry Rats, an expansive revolutionary army created by one of the Warhammer 40,000 team, and new rules for Genestealer Cults Crusade campaigns that expand on the offering in their Codex.

We’re travelling to the Realm of Death in Warhammer Age of Sigmar with Flashpoint Lethis, which finds Sigmar’s premiere stronghold in Shyish under siege from the Ossiarch Bonereapers. Nagash’s enforcers simply want to top up their Bone Tithe, and it’s not really their fault that the process involves people losing their lives. You can fight out the battle yourself over a three-game campaign.

There’s plenty of other great stuff to check out too, with the first battle report from the new edition of Kill Team pitting the swarming Vespid Stingwings against the Tempestus Aquilons, and an accompanying Paint Splatter article on how to paint your own oversized orange insects.

On top of that, there’s a continuation of Armies of the Old World, a classic take on the Tale of Four Warlords format featuring a quartet of gorgeous armies on square bases, a rousing screed on why Skaven are the best, and the second episode of Tatters of Hope, a short story by William Crowe.

Last Call for Quarter Century Secret Rares!

Coming in April, Quarter Century Stampede will be your last chance to get some of your all-time favourite cards as Quarter Century Secret Rares before this spectacular, shining rarity is gone forever.

This direct successor to Quarter Century Bonanza uses its same set and pack configuration, including a core set of more than 80 tournament-level cards, another massive 200-card nostalgia reprint pool, and a guaranteed Luxury Secret Rare per pack, etc.

The nostalgia pool includes picks from our recent online poll asking Duelists which cards THEY want to see as Quarter Century Secret Rares.

Survey results are in and contained quite a few surprises! Thank you, Duelists, for voting! Every card has its fans, and over three thousand different cards had at least one Duelist voting for them to be included. There just isn’t space in the set for everyone, alas.

Of the Top 100 card finalists in the poll, about a third are already in Quarter Century Bonanza, which is available now.

Another third were cards we were already planning to include in Quarter Century Stampede. And even though the poll was for the 200-card nostalgia set, lots of these cards were scheduled for the core set, available in multiple rarities, so we’re going to keep them there in the core set. These include old favourites like Miscellaneousaurus, Xtra HERO Cross Crusader, and Cyber Dragon Infinity, plus lots of newer cards like Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Chamber Dragonmaid, and Salamangreat Raging Phoenix. Other top-voted cards, like the heavily demanded Trap Dustshoot and Metamorphosis, are headed straight to the nostalgia pool as planned.

As for the rest… Petit Moth!? Okay, it’s going in the nostalgia pool! Along with other top finishers like Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle and Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King. All 200 nostalgia pool cards will be included 1 per pack in either Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare, just like in Quarter Century Bonanza. We’ll be showing off more cards as we get closer to the set’s release!
